We are seeking a Senior Full-stack Engineer to join our team in Cluj-Napoca. You will help design and build modern digital products and agentic AI solutions, working closely with colleagues in Romania, Ireland and across Marsh. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys fast-paced delivery, rapid prototyping, and turning emerging ideas into practical solutions that deliver real business value.

Depending on experience, the role may be aligned to Engineer or Senior Engineer level.

We will count on you to:

• Design, prototype, and build digital products and agentic AI solutions for clients and colleagues.
• Work closely with teams in Cluj, Dublin, and across the wider business to turn ideas into usable products.
• Move quickly from concept to proof of concept, learn from user feedback, and iterate rapidly.
• Contribute across the full delivery lifecycle in an Agile team, from design and development through deployment and support.
• Help define and improve engineering standards, including prompt engineering, testing, reuse, documentation, and maintainability.
• Share lessons learned, adapt quickly, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stay current with developments in full stack engineering, LLMs, and agent-based AI systems.

What you need to have:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven experience in full stack development, ideally 5+ years, with scope aligned to your level.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with a modern front-end framework like Angular; React also welcome.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and service integration.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development tools.
• A creative, problem-solving mindset and a collaborative approach.

• Experience building or integrating AI agents, orchestration frameworks, or LLM APIs.
• Experience with testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and production support.
• Awareness of security, privacy, and responsible AI considerations.
• Experience mentoring others or helping define technical standards.
