Job Description

The Asset Management & Reliability (AMR) Team supports Rockwell Automation customers by providing procurement and supply chain solutions for Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) materials, spare parts, repair services, and other operational requirements. Acting as an extension of our customers' procurement organizations, the team creates value through sourcing expertise, supplier management, cost optimization, and supply assurance.

In your role, you will mainly work with Asset Management Professionals (AMPs) and suppliers to identify and implement the best sourcing solutions, drive supplier performance, and ensure a balance of cost, quality, and availability.

You will report to the AMR Team Manager and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.

Your Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Request For Quotation and Purchase Order related activities in ERP/CRM system within given time frames with focus on service, cost and value.
• Satisfaction of the partner, ensuring inventory item supply options are accurate, after performing cost analysis and the best option supply route and volume planning.
• Monitor the cost, delivery schedule and scope of products and services including TCO to assure highest quality at best value.
• Manage inventory items supply including source and price agreements and replenishment.
• Manage vendors tactical performance following our Goals.
• Search, benchmark, introduce and develop new vendors following BU requirements and Sourcing Strategy.
• Manage strategic relations and lead programs with growth.
• Work with AMR Team, partners and vendors to ensure delivery and payment issues are resolved promptly.
• Ensure procurement data consistency and process understanding of Service level agreements.
• Manage supplier selection, negotiations and business reviews.
• Build productive internal/external working relationships.
• Communicate with partners and provide necessary support and information.
• Apply company procedures to resolve standard and non-standard issues. Provide suggestions for improvement and lead improvement projects.
• Lead mid- and high-complexity project assignment based on priorities.
• Mentor other Buyers.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• 5+ years of experience sourcing IT, M&A, or Maintenance Repairs & Operations (MRO).
• Experience supplier negotiations, cost optimization, and service improvement projects.
• Problem‑solve, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of sustainability, energy management, or facilities operations.
• Fluent English.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Knowledge of AI tools and generative AI solutions.
• We prefer SAP experience.
