Role Summary
We are hiring the person who makes Microsoft 365 the center of how Perform works. The foundation is in place and well run. The next chapter is a SharePoint, Teams, and Viva Engage experience people reach for first, with Power Platform and AI built into how work gets done, and you will design it and take it to every part of the business.
Perform runs on Microsoft, and we are ready to get far more out of the platform. This role owns the workplace platforms our people use every day: SharePoint, Teams, Viva Engage, Loop, OneNote, Planner, To Do, and the Power Platform that connects them. The first job is an intranet people want to open, designed with clear hubs, navigation, and metadata so each person sees what their role needs, built with Communications and Marketing so it looks and feels like Perform. The second is making Teams and Viva Engage the place day-to-day work and conversation happen, one business team at a time, so Microsoft 365 becomes our social hub as well as our workspace. You form the design, write the requirement, and see it through our partners to a verified result; Revantage North America keeps the tenant secure and our build partner builds to spec, so your time goes to the experience. AI is part of the landscape, not a side project. You decide where Copilot, agents, and Power Platform automations live inside Microsoft 365 and how they reach people in the flow of their work.
This is a design-and-build seat, not a help desk and not a standards-only role. We need someone who has already made a Microsoft 365 environment something people chose to use, who starts by sitting with a team and mapping how they work, and who runs structured root cause analysis as a habit when something does not land.

About Technology Enablement
Technology Enablement exists to enable the business through technology, measured on three outcomes: getting people productive sooner, getting decisions better informed, and designing out the manual coordination between systems and people. Routine end-user support is handled by our partner organization, Revantage North America, and increasingly by automation, which frees this team for the work the business actually feels: the workplace platforms people use every day, the integrations that connect them, and the automation and adoption work that gets colleagues genuinely using what we build. The team is five people, flat into the Director, two Sr. Associates and three Associates. Everyone on it stays hands-on.
This role sits at the Senior Associate level, the most senior individual contributor tier on the team. It reports to the Director, Technology Enablement and holds no direct reports; the team is flat into the Director. Seniority here is a function of depth, judgment, and standard-setting, not of headcount.
Essential Job Functions
This role owns an area of responsibility rather than a fixed task list. Priorities and areas of ownership may shift as the department grows and as the tools the business runs on change.
Platform ownership
Architect SharePoint, including information architecture, site and hub structure, permissions model, templates, and lifecycle.
Design how Microsoft Teams is structured and used, covering team and channel architecture, naming and lifecycle standards, and communities across a nationally distributed workforce.
Grow adoption across the wider ecosystem including Viva Engage communities, Loop, OneNote, Planner, To Do, and Power Platform, so the tools people already have become the way they work.
Assess Microsoft Copilot and platform AI capability, and recommend where it earns a place in our stack.
Pilot new and upcoming capability, test it before it reaches colleagues, and decide what we adopt, defer, or decline.
Own platform governance, covering site and team creation, ownership and lifecycle, how permissions are granted, external sharing, and retention.
Set workplace application standards for tools outside the collaboration platforms, including Adobe, browsers, and endpoint software.
Partner boundary
Drive changes through Revantage North America as the tenant key holder, owning the design, the case for it, and the follow-through until it is live and verified.
Maintain a written responsibility charter covering what we change directly and what is requested through our managed partner, including named counterparts and expected turnaround.
Raise security and compliance changes through our managed partner, setting out the control, the business impact, and a compliant alternative.
Set the requirements our build partners work to.
Represent Perform's requirements with the technical credibility to be taken seriously, escalating when a request stalls.
Partner with Communications and the intranet workstream so architecture and the published experience are designed together.
Judgment, standards, and continuity
Diagnose failed implementations through structured root cause analysis, and return findings and corrective actions.
Set and hold the standard for anything published into the platforms.
Review the team's technical output and configuration changes before they reach the business.
Document architecture decisions and the reasoning behind them.
Drive adoption of new capability across the company.
Work closely with the Sr. Associate, Workplace Integrations, keeping a shared view across both domains.
Raise the team's technical depth through pairing, walkthroughs, and Technology Office Hours.
Stay hands-on, stepping in on support and equipment needs when the situation calls for it.
Contribute to the wider goals of Technology Enablement, including work not yet described here.
Working Pattern and Travel
Hours: Core business hours in your time zone, with deliberate overlap across the East and West coasts. Some work happens outside those hours. Change windows, migrations, and office moves are planned in advance and occasionally fall on an evening or a weekend. This is not an on-call rotation. Reactive after-hours support sits with Revantage North America.
Travel: Up to 25%, primarily within your region, occasionally at short notice.
Qualifications and Technical Competencies
7+ years working hands-on in Microsoft 365 beyond end-user support, including real ownership of SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams in a business of comparable or greater complexity.
Deep SharePoint Online capability across information architecture, permissions, modern site and hub design, templates, and governance. This is the anchor skill of the role.
Microsoft Teams architecture experience, including channel and lifecycle standards for a distributed workforce.
A track record of driving change in environments where execution rights sit with a managed partner or shared service.
Demonstrated process maturity, with root cause analysis, post-implementation review, and structured troubleshooting as established habits.
Exceptional attention to detail, and the judgment to raise the standard of what the team produces.
Working depth in Entra ID, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365 administration, including which changes require tenant-level rights.
Practical judgment on Copilot and AI tooling, including where it is genuinely useful and where it is not yet ready.
Comfort owning standards for workplace tooling beyond Microsoft, including Adobe, browsers, and endpoint software.
Governance and adoption experience across rollout planning, testing, training, and measurement.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred: Microsoft certifications such as MS-102 Microsoft 365 Administrator, SC-300 Identity and Access Administrator, or SharePoint and Teams administrator credentials; Power Platform capability; and experience with intranet delivery and information architecture at scale.
Benefits & Compensation
Benefits: The Company provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
Base Salary Range: $130,000-$160,000. Actual base salary range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
The additional total direct compensation and benefits described above are subject to the terms and conditions of any governing plans, policies, practices, agreements, or other materials or documents as in effect from time to time, including but not limited to terms and conditions regarding eligibility.
