Residential HVAC Lead Installer

McAllister Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is currently in search of a Lead Residential HVAC Installer to join their Hamburg, NY team. The ideal candidate for this position possesses a strong willingness to learn and grow, with a genuine desire to continue learning the skills necessary to become a proficient and highly effective Residential Installer.

Summary:

McAllister Plumbing, Heating & Cooling has been servicing the Southtowns for over 50 years. Today McAllister continues to operate with the fundamentals of a family business. We provide emergency service and installations for plumbing, heating and air-conditioning equipment. McAllister partners with leading HVAC and plumbing companies throughout the United States, providing the support and resources of a large national company.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and lead installations of residential HVAC equipment, such as furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, mini-splits, AC units, and more
• Interact with homeowners to educate, build relationships, and address HVAC concerns
• Ensure the HVAC equipment that was installed is clean and safe upon departure
• Work with other installers and apprentices on job sites, provide direction and guidance when necessary
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, generators, and other equipment as required by the job
• Perform other duties as assigned by your manager

Job Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2-5 years of HVAC experience preferred
• OSHA 10-hour Certificate and/or EPA Universal Certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required

The starting base range for this position is $30.00 to $35.00 per hour. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside of the provided range.
