About the role
Coordinates and supervises daily activities of a support, production, or operations team.
Sets priorities, ensures task completion, and coordinates work with other supervisors.
Makes decisions and solves problems guided by policies, procedures, and business plans, with guidance and oversight from a manager.
Spends minimal time performing the work supervised (typically less than 20%).
Is accountable for results of a large and/or moderately complex support or production operations team, including subordinate work leaders.
Applies expertise to analyze and solve problems without clear precedent.
Provides input on resource planning and policy development.
Coaches team members, completes performance evaluations, and recommends pay actions.
