Preschool / Recreation Gymnastics Coach

Instruct preschool gymnastics classes while fostering skill development, confidence, and a positive learning experience. Attend required coaching education, training, and professional development opportunities as directed by the supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach all assigned classes as directed by the Supervisor or Gymnastics Director.
• Follow lesson plans and curriculum guidelines provided by the Preschool Coordinator or Gymnastics Director.
• Maintain positive, professional, and effective communication with students and parents.
• Attend and actively participate in required staff meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions.
• Accurately record attendance and maintain current class rosters.
• Foster a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment that promotes skill development and student success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Highly energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about working with young children and their parents/caregivers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Ability to create a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment.
• Previous gymnastics experience or experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instruction, accept feedback, and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
