Moulding Technician

Your Role

The Moulding Technician is responsible for independently setting up, operating, and optimizing injection‑molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment to consistently produce high‑quality products. The role acts as a senior technical expert on the shopfloor, ensures stable processes, supports continuous improvement, and provides technical guidance and training to junior mold technicians and machine operators.

Your Responsibilities

• Set up, change over, and operate injection‑molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment to produce parts that meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot process, machine, and secondary‑equipment issues, including basic electrical troubleshooting, with maintenance support as required.
• Perform mold setups, including large molds, water‑circuit configuration, and color changes, and ensure correct parameter settings.
• Monitor product quality continuously and take immediate corrective actions in case of deviations from specifications.
• Carry out preventive maintenance of molds in the press and support stable, repeatable production processes.
• Train and support Mold Technicians I & II and assigned machine operators in setup, process control, and quality requirements.
• Work closely with shift supervisors, process engineers, and plant personnel to support continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
