Language and Communication Subjects Hourly Teacher Pool of the Helsinki Metropolitan Area Universities

The language centers of the University of Helsinki, Aalto University, the University of the Arts Helsinki, and Hanken School of Economics have launched a joint hourly teacher and substitute teacher pool in a pilot phase. This operating model makes it easier for teachers and recruiting supervisors at the language centers to find each other.

How does the pool work?

• Joining the pool is voluntary.
• Registering does not commit you to anything.
• The pool covers all language and communication subjects currently offered.
• Teachers fill in a form and indicate which language or communication subjects they can teach.
• Teachers can limit their availability, for example to daytime or evening teaching.
• Recruiting supervisors use a shared platform to identify potential teachers.
• The pool will run in a pilot phase until the end of 2026, after which the model will be re-evaluated.

Access to the information is limited to people involved in recruitment and the person responsible for the hourly teacher pool.

Timlärarpool för språk- och kommunikationsämnen vid universiteten i Helsingforsregionen

Språkcentren vid Helsingfors universitet, Aalto-universitetet, Konstuniversitetet och Svenska handelshögskolan har under en pilotfas inrättat en gemensam timlärar- och vikariepool. Denna verksamhetsmodell gör det lättare för lärare och rekryterande chefer vid språkcentren att hitta varandra.

Hur fungerar poolen?

• Att ansluta sig till poolen är frivilligt.
• Registreringen förpliktar inte till något.
• Poolen omfattar alla språk- och kommunikationsämnen som för närvarande erbjuds.
• Lärare fyller i ett formulär och anger vilka språk- eller kommunikationsämnen de kan undervisa i.
• Lärare kan begränsa sin tillgänglighet, till exempel till dag- eller kvällsundervisning.
• Rekryterande chefer använder en gemensam plattform för att identifiera möjliga lärare.
• Poolen kommer att vara i pilotfas fram till slutet av år 2026, varefter verksamhetsmodellen kommer att utvärderas på nytt.

Endast personer som deltar i rekryteringen samt den person som ansvarar för timlärarpoolen har tillgång till uppgifterna.
