The role
Turn client labour demand into people started on site, on the agreed date, with the client always knowing the true position.
Centum supplies skilled labour to major construction and engineering projects across Europe. You will connect our clients, Recruitment, Logistics and Finance, taking ownership from the initial labour request through mobilisation, Day 1 on site and eventual redeployment.
You will be the single point of contact for the client on numbers, names, dates and changes.
A name on a spreadsheet is not a person on site. Know who is approved, who is travelling and who has actually started. If the position changes, tell the client early and get the replacement moving.
Key responsibilities
- Take labour demand from Sales and clients. Confirm trades, numbers, skills, start dates, location, rotation, induction requirements and expected duration before setting recruitment priorities.
- Give Recruiters clear requirements and deadlines. Track progress against each request and flag gaps while there is time to act.
- Work with Recruiters and the Recruitment Administrator to ensure candidates are accurately presented, correctly onboarded and cleared for induction.
- Send signed-off candidate packs to clients, book inductions and secure starter approvals through client contractor portals.
- Maintain an accurate view of demand, candidates submitted, approvals, travel, confirmed starts and outstanding actions.
- Keep clients and site teams informed, with a start-of-day update by 08:00 covering demand filled, outstanding requirements, travellers, starters and changes.
- Coordinate flights, accommodation and transport with Logistics. Confirm weekend travellers have actually travelled and escalate missed journeys promptly.
- Set new clients up with Finance, confirming onboarding paperwork, timesheet processes, payment terms and purchase orders before they become payment problems.
- Manage drop-outs, delayed approvals and replacements quickly, keeping clients informed of the recovery plan.
- Plan demobilisation and redeployment so capable workers move to their next assignment rather than being lost from the business.
- Where assigned, sell Centum’s labour and man-hours within the approved rate card and support labour provision contracts within delegated authority.
- Keep records current in the approved system so Recruitment, Logistics, Finance and site teams work from the same information.
What we are looking for
- Relevant experience in labour hire, recruitment coordination, mobilisation or resourcing for electrical installations or electrical engineering projects.
- Strong client communication and the confidence to give the true position early, including when the news is difficult.
- Proven ability to manage multiple labour requests, starts, approvals and deadlines at once.
- Practical understanding of mobilisation, inductions, rotations and workforce availability.
- Commercial awareness, including purchase orders, agreed rates, payment terms and timesheet approval.
- Confident use of Microsoft 365, client portals and digital recruitment or workforce systems.
- Accurate record-keeping and the discipline to maintain a single system of record.
- Willingness to make early starts for the 08:00 client update and provide weekend travel confirmations on an agreed rota.
- Ability to travel between office and project locations, with a valid driving licence suitable for the company van.
- Previous data centre experience desirable, but not essential where you can demonstrate strong electrical sector workforce coordination.
Bring the evidence
Experience matters. Evidence earns trust. Tell us what you personally owned and the results you delivered.
- The trades, workforce numbers, clients and project locations you supported.
- Examples of filling urgent demand, recovering a failed mobilisation or replacing a drop-out.
- How you kept clients informed while managing changing requirements.
- Improvements you made to starter readiness, redeployment, timesheet accuracy or client service.
Anonymised examples and figures are welcome. We may follow up with references; confidential employer, client or employee records are not required.
How success is measured
Approved workers starting on the agreed date, accurate client updates by 08:00, reliable mobilisation records, fast replacement of drop-outs, effective redeployment and complete commercial administration.
Responsibility and judgement
Own the coordination of assigned labour requirements and client updates. Set recruitment priorities against agreed demand, coordinate mobilisation and escalate shortages, approval delays, travel failures and payment risks promptly.
Work within approved rates and delegated authority. Do not promise a start date, worker approval or commercial term that has not been confirmed.
Why join Centum
Take ownership of a central role within a growing Labour Hire operation, supporting major international projects.
You will have a company van, work closely with Recruitment, Logistics and Finance, and have a clear career path within Labour Hire operations. We value capability, accurate communication and people who follow through.
Be clear about the commitment
“They should be there” is not a confirmed start.
This role needs someone who checks, confirms and follows through. Expect office attendance, site visits across Dublin and Munster, early client updates and weekend travel checks on an agreed rota.
Hybrid arrangements may be agreed, but clients still need answers and workers still need to arrive. The job is done when the person starts on site, not when the flight is booked.
