Lead the Planning department in developing robust Master Production Schedules (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and material availability strategies for long-lead mechanical and electronic components.
- Global EMS Management & Governance: Direct oversight and operational accountability for global EMS manufacturing partners. Drive capacity planning, production scheduling, on-time delivery (OTD), first-pass yield, and cost optimization across all sites.
- 3PL & International Warehousing: Manage global 3PL operations across 2 international sites. Optimize inventory positioning, warehouse throughput, buffer stock management, and hub-and-spoke distribution networks.
- Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing supply chain team covering, planning, CM management, inventory and logistics. Establish robust supply chain analytics, KPIs (OTD, inventory turns, lead times), and digital tools AI/ERP integrations.
- Logistics & Warehouse Operations: Direct internal warehouse management teams, receiving/kitting workflows, inventory accuracy (cycle counts), and internal logistics to support production execution.
- Trade Compliance & Import/Export: Lead the Import/Export department to guarantee 100% regulatory compliance with ITAR, EAR, ECCN classifications, Country of Origin (COO) rules, customs clearance, and military export licenses across operating jurisdictions.
- Strategic Planning & Component Risk Mitigation: Develop active risk mitigation strategies for long-lead electronic components, single/sole-source items, and End-of-Life (EoL) parts to safeguard production continuity.
- Efficiency and KPI Driving: Establish and drive rigorous supply chain KPIs (OTD, Inventory Turns, Schedule Attainment, Freight Cost % of Sales, Carrying Costs) and lead continuous cost reduction initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Engineering, Sales, Operations Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and Production leads during New Product Introduction (NPI) to ensure design-for-supply-chain readiness and smooth transitions.
Qualifications & Technical Requirements:
- Education: B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related technical field. Master's degree or MBA is highly preferred.
- Experience: 15+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience in high-tech manufacturing, with Defense, Aerospace, or Mission-Critical Hardware industry (advantage).
- EMS & 3PL Expertise: Proven track record managing international EMS partners (tier-1/tier-2) and global 3PL logistics facilities across multiple countries.
- Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: Deep working knowledge of military trade regulations (ITAR, EAR), customs procedures, ECCN, and international import/export laws.( advantage)

Expected Performance Metrics (KPIs):
- Delivery Performance: On-Time Delivery (OTD) > 95% across all sites and customer order fulfillments.
- Inventory Optimization: Achieve target inventory turns while maintaining zero line-down events due to material shortages.
- Own the global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, aligning commercial demand forecasts with manufacturing capacity and material availability.
- Optimize inventory levels across multiple hubs to balance cash flow, lead-time reduction, and target customer fulfillment levels.
- Oversee international trade compliance, import/export controls, customs clearance, freight optimization, and global logistics networks.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing supply chain team covering, planning, CM management, inventory and logistics.
