About the role
JOB TITLE: Corper Pharmacist
*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a vibrant and dedicated NYSC Corper Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will support daily pharmacy operations, provide pharmaceutical care, and ensure excellent patient service.
*Key Responsibilities:*
1. Dispensing prescribed medications accurately and counseling patients on proper usage.
2. Providing drug information and health advice to customers/patients.
3. Assisting in stock management - taking inventory, checking expiry dates, and arranging drugs.
4. Ensuring proper storage and arrangement of pharmaceutical products.
5. Processing prescriptions and maintaining accurate patient records.
6. Collaborating with the Superintendent Pharmacist and other healthcare professionals.
7. Maintaining compliance with PCN regulations and pharmacy ethics.
8. Participating in health awareness and community outreach programs where required.
Requirements
Pharm.D degree from an accredited university
- Currently undergoing NYSC with PPA posting letter
- Valid Pharmacist registration (provisional license) is an added advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
