About the role
Consultant M&A
- Prepare sector-focused newsletters
- Structure and prepare buy-side / sell-side pitch books
- Execute valuation analysis through market approach and income approach
- Structure and prepare sections of Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs) and Management Presentations (MPs)
- Prepare three-statement financial models for M&A transactions
- Perform financial and operational benchmarking
- Prepare conference presentations
- Assemble Virtual Data Rooms (VDR) for M&A transactions
- Bid summary analysis
CA / CFA / MBA (Specialization in Finance & Investment Management)
The candidate must have 3+ years of working experience in investment banking / M&A services
Mandatory Technical and Functional Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial statements and financial ratios
- Good understanding of M&A concepts and relative valuation techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A commercial outlook and a good understanding of the general business / economic environment and M&A business
- Working knowledge of MS Office (specifically MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in using research databases such as Capital IQ, Thomson Reuters, Pitchbook, among others
