About this role

We are looking for a Collaboration Platform Engineer to join our global Workplace Technology team. In this role, you will help us lead, deliver, and care by engineering and optimizing our core digital workspace platforms, focusing on Slack Enterprise Grid and Google Workspace.

Working with a supportive team, you will empower tens of thousands of employees globally through a customer-centric approach. You will drive seamless teamwork to deliver secure, automated, and high-performing collaboration tools across our entire global IT ecosystem.

These are some of the key components to the position:

• Manage day-to-day administration and policy architecture for Slack Enterprise Grid and Google Workspace to drive operational excellence.
• Build custom automations, scripts, and API integrations (using GAM, Google Apps Script, Python) to eliminate manual processes and aim high.
• Implement robust security guardrails, including OAuth governance, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) rules, and Okta JIT provisioning.
• Serve as an L3 escalation point for complex collaboration platform incidents in Jira, driving swift root-cause resolution.
• Oversee workspace lifecycle management, domain security records (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), and third-party application approvals.
• Collaborate closely with SecOps, IAM, and IT teams to help one another succeed and roll out modern workspace tools.
  
  

What will you bring to the team?

• Demonstrated hands-on experience administering enterprise-scale Slack Enterprise Grid and Google Workspace environments.
• Proven track record of developing operational automations using Google Apps Script, GAM, Python, Bash, or Slack APIs.
• Strong understanding of cloud identity and security concepts, including SAML, SSO, SCIM, Okta integration, and DLP enforcement.
• Practical experience working in agile IT environments using Jira and Confluence to stay committed to achieving goals.
• Ability to develop a deep understanding of internal partners to deliver simple, effective friction-point resolutions.
• Engineering mindset focused on aiming higher, driving excellence, continuous automation, and platform reliability.
• High level of autonomy, initiative, and proactive security consciousness to act responsibly and make a lasting impact.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills with a passion for supporting colleagues in an asynchronous global team.
